Discover Kabale
Kabale, in southwestern Uganda, is known for its scenic beauty, cool climate, and nickname “The Switzerland of Africa.” Surrounded by rolling hills, it serves as the gateway to Lake Bunyonyi, one of Africa’s deepest lakes. With fertile soil supporting rich agriculture, Kabale is popular for its local markets and as a stop for travelers visiting Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to see mountain gorillas.

Gorilla Trekking
Encounter nature with the Mountain Gorillas in misty Bwindi Impenetrable and Mgahinga Forests. Bwindi is also home to half of the gorilla population in the world and home to other endangered species hence being named a UNESCO World heritage site. The experience is simply unforgettable and life-changing, so enjoy it when in Uganda.
Bird Watching
Known as home for over 200 varied bird species, bird watching in Kabale’s Lake Bunyonyi is a unique experience. The lush forests, high-altitude wetlands, and scenic Lake provides ideal habitats, drawing both local and migratory birds.
Nature Walks
Enjoy views while you trek through Mt Mgahinga (It includes three of the eight major Virunga peaks) and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Nature walks can also be enjoyed along trails near Lake Bunyonyi which offers stunning views of terraced hills, lush landscapes, and refreshing air.
Golf Rounds
Unwind with a round of golf on one of Uganda’s golf courses located in central Kabale. The course has a natural green lawn that stretches on 9holes and overlooks Kabale’s hills and city.
Community Tours
Enjoy walks or drives through the city to experience the locals lifestyle, visit the local artisan markets and learn about the “Kikiga Culture”. Kabale is a prominent center of faith, home to some of the oldest and most magnificent churches, making it a worthwhile tour destination.

Lake Tour
Lake Bunyonyi which is the third deepest lake in the world. It has an estimate of 29 islands including the historical Punishment Island. While at the lake enjoy bird watching, ziplining, or canoeing as you interact with the friendly locals.
Historical Immersion
Known for its great history and culture that includes dance and food, Kabale is also home to some of Uganda’s amazing historical/cultural sites worth visiting such as the Great Lakes Museum.
Batwa Cultural Experience
Experience the Culture of the native Batwa Pygmies for a deeper appreciation of their way of life near the Mgahinga and Bwindi Impenetrable forests. On this trail you will enjoy a display of their skills in fire making, music and dance as well as learn about their hunting expertise.
